Prostate cancer research fundraiser Run 50 miles in October complete !

So I completed my fundraiser in October for PCR and I was delighted to be part of a country wide team who walked ,jogged and cycled the 50 miles and we managed to raise over £500K .What was very interesting during the month was all the personal stories and the amount of people who have been affected by Prostate Cancer.That's why I ran and  I am very grateful to Banbury Health Care centre and the NHS Oxford University Hospitals ,Churchill Hospital ,Cancer and Haematology Centre for their prompt response in diagnosing and treating my prostate issue.

Now the next big thing in my life is to get an appointment with the plastic surgeon to have this nasty looking BCC - Basal Cell Carcinoma on my forehead removed. And that's why my tag line is so true ,''Much more shade and TIME TO PLAY''.I am spending so much time waiting for appointments , time in hospitals and time to recover.If only I could have spent less time in the sun.If you are going away this December please have a look at www.blackheronheadwear.co.uk .I think I have designed the perfect hat for you.Thanks for your support.
